TMS Solutions

Being not costly distribution transformers, utility companies don’t care that big number of outage potentials. Losing each distribution transformer normally at the pick time will reduce total revenue as well as customer satisfaction while cost-effective monitoring of such transformers provides live tracking to prevent any transformer failure.



Hexing’ Transformer Monitoring System (TMS) is designed based on state-of-the-art multi-functional gateway which accurately measures electrical parameters of transformer’ LV side, manages belonging smart PLC or RF residential meters (as a DCU) and monitor transformer’ oil or even control relevant feeder/transformer ( up to 800A).

This advanced TMS unit has 2 types for the cases that utility wants to monitor the transformer and manage smart meters or monitor transformer, manage smart meters with extra ability of remote switching. Basic unit measures secondary side of transformer via portable Rogowski CTs and advanced type does same measurement but via normal split-core CTs installed in the box. Collected load, network and oil data will be securely transferred to the utility over GPRS/3G/4G or even Ethernet cable.

Except asset management that is the main concern of Hexing TMS, there are other applications like peak shaving, loss monitoring (a key tool of ATC&C system) and Feeder monitoring, all to optimize smart grid structure.

C&I Solutions


Utility companies have different customers that categorized based on required demand. End user customers mostly divided into two groups, Residential and Industrial customers that residential customers are huge in number but small in revenue in comparison to commercial and industrial (C&I) customer which are few in number but they are big in revenue. Utilities always face many challenges to monitor those big customers for example, Illegal tamper causes high commercial losses, it is difficult to make a field visit and inspection, Delayed bill payment brings high bad debt, and High asset fail risk in case of over loading (transformer).


Hexing smart C&I metering solution integrates a broad portfolio of devices, IT hardware and software to block revenue leakage along the power distribution chain. The architecture is comprised of three layers:

Layer 1 – Low Voltage Side: Hexing designed smart meter and enclosure with complete anti-tamper facilities. And also developed a prepayment solution for small C&I customer with external breaker to disconnect power supply whenever the credit is run off.

Layer 2- Median Voltage Side: In the MV side, Hexing provides integrated metering solution with combined CT/PT devices. MV metering suit installed at the primary side of transformer makes it difficult for end user to touch and perform any illegal manipulation.

The constant pressure variable frequency water supply equipment is a water supply and pressurization equipment composed of the latest PID variable frequency control and pump group in parallel, which can be automatically adjusted to meet the user’s constant pressure variable water supply requirements. This equipment is installed in one piece and can be installed directly at the inlet pipe of the community or office building. It not only reduces the terminal pressure requirement, but also allows for secondary pressurization again in front of the cell. This saves electricity and reduces the risk of pipe bursts. The pressure of the water supply network is kept constant, and the equipment also adopts a small flow rate to stop and keep pressure, avoiding frequent starting of the pump with a small flow rate, so that the whole water supply system always keeps the best state of high efficiency and energy saving.
